School of Food Safety

The program carries the vital responsibility of training professionals with a solid foundation in food safety, strong interdisciplinary skills in risk assessment and management, effective media communication abilities, and a global perspective on food safety. It is committed to promoting accurate concepts of safety and risk, while effectively communicating comprehensive scientific information to the public, media, and government agencies. Through these efforts, the program aims to strengthen risk communication, thereby supporting social stability and economic development.

Beginning with the 2023 academic year, admissions to the Master’s Program under the College of Nutrition have been suspended, and a new Master’s Program has been established within the School of Food Safety. The School of Food Safety continues to be dedicated to cultivating food safety professionals for the nation, with the goal of advancing public health and ensuring sustainable development in the field.
