Graduate Institute of Metabolism and Obesity Sciences

The Graduate Institute of Metabolism and Obesity Sciences is the first academic unit in Taiwan focusing on disease metabolism and obesity research. With a strong foundation in medicine, nutrition, and public health, the institute advances translational medicine that bridges laboratory discoveries and clinical applications. Our research highlights the metabolic basis of obesity-related diseases, especially the complex interplay among nutrition, disease, and the gut microbiome. We are committed to cultivating professionals who will lead future efforts in obesity prevention, treatment, and health promotion.
