Sakura Exchange Program

Program Overview

The Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science (Sakura Science Program), initiated by the Japanese government, fosters close collaboration among industry, academia, and government to invite outstanding young people from Asia for short-term visits to Japan, offering first-hand exposure to Japan’s most advanced science and technology.

The program not only enhances Asian youths’ interest in scientific innovation but also helps cultivate internationally minded talents across Asia, contributing to the shared advancement of science in Asia and Japan.
