School of Nutrition and Health Sciences

Established in 1979, the School of Nutrition and Health Sciences is the founding school of the College of Nutrition and a pioneer in nutrition education in Taiwan. With MS, professional MS, and PhD programs launched in 1995, 2000, and 2002, the school has cultivated over 3,300 alumni who are now leaders in nutrition and health-related fields. Guided by the principle “Life counts on health, and health counts on nutrition,” the school is dedicated to training professionals in therapeutic nutrition, nutrition research, education, food service management, and quantity food production.

The school is proud to hold the best pass rate for registered dietitians in Taiwan, and most dietitians nationwide are its alumni. International students also thrive—each publishing on average two scientific articles during their studies, with over 75% of Indonesian graduates securing faculty positions at top universities in their home country.
